
A 50-year-old worker died this Wednesday afternoon at the Movistar Arena stadium, the former Sports Palace, as reported by Emergencies of the Community of Madrid.
Upon the arrival of the Summa 112 troops, the man was in cardiorespiratory arrest, as reported by Carlos Rubio, chief of guard of the regional Emergency team. After 20 minutes of advanced resuscitation maneuvers, they were only able to confirm the man’s death.
Three other workers have been treated by psychologists due to anxiety attacks after witnessing the work accident.
Members of the Madrid City Council Fire Department and agents of the Municipal Police have also arrived at the scene, who are in charge of investigating what happened.
