The Federal Supreme Court resumes this Wednesday (May 20, 2026) the , which aims to connect Pará to Mato Grosso to transport agricultural production. ADI analyzes the constitutionality of the law that changed the limits of the Jamanxim National Park, in Pará, to make the railway viable.
The process was on the plenary agenda in April, after STF minister Flávio Dino, who had requested a review, released the action. The rapporteur, minister Alexandre de Moraes, voted for the validity of the law, being accompanied by Roberto Barroso –retired–, under the argument that the work will follow the existing route and will reduce CO² emissions.
