Minister of the Environment Tomáš Taraba (SNS nominee) he does not believe that the request for his recall actually occurred. He takes information with a grain of salt. He stated this on the social network in response to the statements of the Slovak National Party (SNS).
“A month ago, the chairman of the SNS publicly said that I am a very good manager for the position of minister. I thank him for the support he gave me at the time. That’s why I don’t believe that the request for my dismissal really came about. I am a minister who has no cases, I manage the department with a lot of smart people, many of them were even given to me directly by the chairman of the SNS, and if they were smart and proved themselves, they are in positions.” wrote Taraba.
As he added, he believes that national politics is about content and not about the permanent creation of conflicts. “That’s why I take all published information with a big grain of salt. People want solutions and performance from politicians, so I will not participate in these rumors.” he added.
The SNS offered as one of the alternatives, in view of the announced reconstruction of the government, the replacement of its nominee for the post of Minister of the Environment. According to the party, Taraba has been managing the department in question fully autonomously for three years, including personnel nominations, while for a long time there has been no substantive discussion even about essential materials prepared by the ministry.
