Nicosia – Eurogroup President Kyriakos Pierrakakis warns that the economic crisis in Europe will worsen the longer the Iran war lasts and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. People are very aware that “June will be worse than May, July will be worse than June,” said Pierrakakis on the sidelines of a meeting with finance ministers in the Eurogroup in the Cyprus capital Nicosia. “We are monitoring the situation closely.”
