In August 2025, the STF handed down a second sentence to the former parliamentarian: five years e three months in prison. The conviction refers to the crimes of illegal possession of a firearm e illegal constraint. The case occurred on the eve of the 2022 elections, in São Paulo, when Zambelli was filmed chasing a man with a gun drawn on a public street.
Loss of mandate and arrest in Italy
In December last year, minister Alexandre de Moraes ordered the revocation of the decision of the Chamber of Deputies that maintained Zambelli’s mandate. In view of the measure, the former deputy presented her resignation from her position.
