Montreal – Max Verstappen has confirmed his intention to stay in Formula 1 next year. The four-time world champion confirmed in an interview with the Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf” that he would “definitely” compete in the premier motorsport class in 2027: “Unless really crazy things happen, but I’m not assuming that.” The Red Bull driver has not yet achieved a podium finish this season with the new engine regulations.
