In an automotive market increasingly dependent on electronics and software, diagnostic efficiency is no longer a differentiator and has become a basic condition for the operation of workshops. It is in this context that the Chiptronic, a Brazilian company specialized in automotive technology, seeks new partners to expand its operations and scale solutions that already serve mechanics in Brazil and abroad.
With one of the largest engineering sectors in the segment in Latin America, its main areas of activity include the supply of vehicle diagnostic equipment, which enables automotive repair, in addition to training professionals in vehicle electronics.
Founded in 1997, the company evolved from a workshop into a technological development center, focusing on creating tools that optimize repairers’ daily lives. “We understand what the real demands of mechanics are. Therefore, we are able to increase agility, quality and efficiency in the daily lives of these professionals”says André Miura, founder of the company.

By bringing together the tripod — own technology, technical knowledge and international presence — Chiptronic grows around 35% per year. With annual revenues of approximately R$50 million, the company’s market value is around R$110 million. “With a solid business model, we are now looking for partnerships that expand the distribution of solutions to new markets, in Brazil and abroad”says Miura.
Technology in the workshops
Chiptronic advances along with the complexity of vehicles, which increasingly incorporate electronic components — which increases the demand from mechanics for tools capable of dealing with these new automotive systems. With a presence throughout Brazil, the company serves more than 37 thousand customers and works directly in the routine of workshops of different sizes.
On the diagnostics front, scanners produced in Brazil allow us to identify faults with greater precision and reduce repair time. In the maintenance stage, the equipment developed by the company makes it possible to repair and, therefore, reuse parts, which translates into a sustainable front for the business.
The model represents a relevant change in the sector, since, in the past, only dealerships had access to cutting-edge diagnostic tools — most of which were imported. “We opened the market as more mechanics began to have access to quality equipment, which contributes to increasing the range of services and profitability of the business”, says Miura.
Education
Chiptronic’s premise is that customers — or potential customers — need to be aware of movements in the sector and understand, in practice, how new tools work. To this end, the company maintains a training center that regularly receives mechanics from Brazil and abroad. The initiative aims to present solutions that raise the technical level of operations and reduce dependence on manual processes.
Training also takes place on an itinerant basis, with circuits that cover different regions of Brazil and Latin America, offering courses for professionals at different levels. “We cover both capitals and smaller cities. Our objective is to democratize access to solutions, disseminating knowledge that transforms”says Miura.

Transformation vector
The transformation of the automotive sector increasingly involves the ability to interpret data, reduce failures and optimize resources. In this context, predictive solutions increase diagnostic accuracy, while advanced electronic repair solutions expand the use of parts and gain prominence in the circular economy — Chiptronic’s specialty since its inception.
By expanding its operations and seeking new partners, Chiptronic positions itself as an agent of this change — connecting technology to the routine of workshops and transport companies, contributing to a more efficient, productive market prepared for the challenges of new mobility.
