Berlin – Because of the conflict in the Middle East, economists are now also lowering their forecast for growth in Germany. “The Iran war and the resulting sharp rise in crude oil and gas prices as well as US trade policy are putting a strain on economic development,” said the five top economists on Wednesday in their spring report for the German federal government.
