The Federal Police (PF) launched this Wednesday (27) a new phase of Operation Without Discountwhich investigates deviations from pensions from the National Social Security Institute (INSS) and targets new associations responsible for undue discounts that had not yet been the target of the investigation.

are fulfilled eight electronic ankle bracelet precautionary orders and 31 search and seizure warrants in the Federal District, São Paulo, Pernambuco and Paraíba. There are no parliamentarians among the targets.

In the PF’s sights are the Amar Brasil Clube de Benefícios Association and its former president, Felipe Macedo Gomes. Also targeted was Igor Dias Delecrode, former president of the Association for Social Support for Retirees and Pensioners, and other associations. The defenses of the two have not yet manifested themselves.

The PF is also targeting an INSS technician, Everaldo Felício de Macedo, suspected of receiving payments from businessman Antônio Camilo Antunes, investigated on charges of being the leader of the scheme and known as the Careca of the INSS. Macedo’s defense has not yet manifested itself. Other former INSS employees are targets of this phase.

The operation was authorized by the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) André Mendonça. The PF had requested the arrests of the targets, but the minister did not authorize the adoption of the measure.

This new phase occurs shortly after the change in case coordination. The PF removed the investigation from the social security crimes repression division to the Coordination of Inquiries in Superior Courts (CINQ/CGRC/DICOR/PF).

As a result, the delegate who was coordinating the investigations, in the social security area, was replaced. At the end of last year, he had asked for breaches of bank secrecy from Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinha, the president’s eldest son. Lulinha is not the target of this phase.
