Junts hopes that Sánchez will call elections: “We are not here to install or remove Spanish governments”
Junts spokesperson in Congress, Mírian Nogueras, has assured that her party is not there to “put in and take out” Spanish governments and has insisted that Sánchez must bring forward the elections. “We are not here to support anyone, to put up with anyone. We are here to talk and do politics and help people,” he said in an interview on TVE. “We do not have the election button nor do we have the motion button, because with seven deputies we cannot make a motion,” he added.
Nogueras has also criticized the lack of measures against corruption by the Executive. “On July 9 of last year, President Sánchez already appeared and told us that a series of anti-corruption measures would be implemented. Practically a year has passed and not only has nothing happened, nothing has been executed, but the situation is even worse.”
