The Ministry is considering applying two editions of the (National Medical Training Assessment Examination) from 2027 onwards.
The announcement, which is not yet definitive, was made during a meeting with representatives of the Association of Independent Supporters of Higher Education Educators (Amies).
The exam evaluates the courses offered in the country and began to be applied last year. . The idea of the department is to expand the application of the exam and, to this end, it asked for support from Amies.
The decision is seen as an attempt to impede the progress of the “Medicine” proposal, a test for recent graduates to obtain registration in the profession and which is defended by the Federal Council of Medicine.
