After being rescued by the Fire Department last Tuesday (26), Ana Cláudia was taken conscious and without signs of fractures to the João XXIII Emergency Hospital.
Thrown from a 50-meter cliff in Serra do Rola-Moçain Belo Horizonte (MG), by her ex-partner, Ana Cláudia Rodrigues da Silva Souza, 41 years old, was discharged from hospital on Wednesday (27). The information was confirmed by a relative of the victim to the report.
Thaine Heloísa Rodrigues de Souza, daughter of Ana Cláudia, posted a photo of her mother on social media, sitting on a sofa in the house where they live. This Thursday (28), she posted another image, which shows Ana Cláudia holding a basket with chocolates and a balloon with a message: “Happy recovery”.
Ana Cláudia had been kidnapped last Monday (25). Silvanildo Amâncio de Araújo, 52 years old, from whom Ana Cláudia separated in February after 10 years, was arrested on suspicion of being the perpetrator of the crime.
In a video, Silvanildo confessed to having thrown his ex-partner off a cliff due to a fight that occurred between the two last Saturday (23), and admitted that he fled after the episode. He was arrested in Várzea da Palma, more than 300 km from the capital of Minas Gerais.
In Silvanildo’s vehicle, military police officers found a pocket knife, as well as several knives and four cell phones – one of them wrapped in aluminum foil in an attempt to make tracking via GPS difficult. His defense was not located.
