The North American portal, citing two officials from the United States, said this Thursday that the two countries reached an agreement that would unblock the Strait of Hormuz and extend the ceasefire for 60 daysbut the agreement awaits approval from Donald Trump.
During the 60-day extension of the ceasefire, the belligerents would begin negotiations on the nuclear program Iranian.
Iran will not impose any tolls in the Strait of Hormuz, crucial for global oil trade, and the United States will lift the maritime blockade it has imposed against ships departing and arriving at Iranian ports.
The lifting would take place in proportion to the resumption of commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
Furthermore, according to the sources cited, Iran would have to withdraw all minas of the strait within 30 days.

This agreement would also stipulate that the war between Israel and the Shiite movement Hezbollah, supported by Iran, would come to an end – this issue generated a tense discussion between US President Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
