Raleigh (North Carolina) – The Carolina Hurricanes moved into the final series of the NHL play-offs after a confident 6-1 home win against the Montreal Canadiens. The Hurricanes won the best of seven series against the Canadians 4-1 and, after convincing performances in the play-offs, are now going into the duel for the Stanley Cup against the Vegas Golden Knights as favorites. The team from Las Vegas had previously prevailed against the Colorado Avalanche in just four games.
