Supposedly, the São Paulo native says he is the target of virtual attacks for having joined the Union after leaving the PT, the party for which he was a candidate for councilor in 2024.
A pre-candidate for state deputy, Jalloul posed for photos and published them on his networks alongside the Union chief in São Paulo, Milton Leite, and the councilor and current president of the City Council, Ricardo Teixeira.
“I received several aggressive messages from left-wing activists who don’t know how to respect other people’s individuality,” said Jalloul, alluding to a website that refers to União as the party that persecuted Father Júlio Lancellotti.
“They use the priest, who is a personal friend of mine, as bait to cancel me on the internet. And the priest told me that he, in fact, baptized councilman Ricardo Teixeira’s daughter”, he continued.
In addition to PT, he has also been to PSOL and MDB. “Within the PT, I had no chance at all, because they like to keep the party’s elders in power, and we only work as activists and get votes, which is not my objective.”
