
Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of Denmark, informed this Monday that she has reached a government agreement to remain at the head of the Executive for four more years. After almost 70 days of post-electoral negotiations – the longest in the history of the Scandinavian country – the social democratic leader has reached an agreement to form a coalition government with the centrists of the Moderate Party, the Social Liberal Party (moderate left) and the Green Left. Frederiksen, , adds a third term and is on track to become the prime minister who has served the longest time in the Nordic country since World War II.
