An unexpected situation marked the Ecuadorian Serie B match between El Nacional and Liga de Portoviejo.
In the 71st minute, the stretcher car entered the field to remove an injured player from the visiting team, but ended up hitting another athlete while leaving the field.
Edison Caicedo was hit in the thigh by the end of the stretcher and fell to the ground, while the transported player also suffered an impact on the face due to the sudden movement.
