France condemned Russia on Tuesday for its “total contempt” for peace efforts. This is how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to Moscow’s latest massive attack on Ukraine.
“These massive Russian bombings targeting the civilian population and infrastructure once again demonstrate Moscow’s complete contempt for peace efforts,” the French ministry said in a statement. “These cynical attacks again violate international humanitarian law,” the department added, accusing the Kremlin of trying to prolong the war.

Russia carried out massive attacks on Ukraine on Tuesday night, which left at least 18 dead. The Ukrainian air force reported attacks by more than 650 drones and 70 missiles, including ballistic ones.
Extensive Russian operations
The Russian armed forces confirmed on Tuesday that they had launched a large-scale strike targeting a network of facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, using hypersonic missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi also condemned the attacks, calling on the United States to supply more air defense missiles.
