“My mother doesn’t participate in anything in my life”, assures the 15-year-old girl. It happened in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine.
The episode appears in a context of broad mobilization in Ukraine. The Government led by Volodymyr Zelenskyy continues to recruit as many citizens as possible to stop Russia.
Ukrainian legislation provides for exceptions and special regimes for certain categories of people, including fathers or mothers raising minor children alone.
However, there was no exception for the father of a minornuma aldeia de Khmelnytskyi.
The father was near a bus stop because I was going to meet my daughterwho was coming from school. However, it was detained to enlist in the army.
The father is the sole responsible for the teenagerin practice. “My mother (who got divorced) doesn’t participate in anything in my life,” wrote her own daughter. A legal process is underway to take custody of the mother.

Ruslana Danyshchuk, the detained man’s eldest daughter, revealed a path of hope: if the court decides that, officially, the father is the only legal guardian, he will be able to file a request for dismissal – and be dismissed from the war.
For now, the tia remains as an official and temporary guardian. There is a possibility that the minor will go to a shelter.
The Federal Supreme Court declares that the child’s interests must be taken into account first.
