Christoph Baumgartner is practically invulnerable. He throws himself into every duel, is constantly knocked down by opponents thanks to his dribbling skills – and yet has not had a serious injury since 2018. There were short breaks here and there, but he never missed more than four games in a row. The fact that Austria’s offensive whirlwind was so badly injured during the warm-up before the last friendly that he missed the World Cup is a cruel turn of events.
