Ljubljana – Almost a week after the election of conservative opposition leader Janez Janša as head of government, the new Slovenian center-right government took office this Thursday. Immediately after parliamentary approval of the 15-member cabinet, the handover of office by the previous liberal head of government Robert Golob took place in the late afternoon. The new government is also expected to change course in foreign policy.
