The renowned broadcasting lawyer Hans Peter Lehofer questions whether some applicants actually meet the criteria for general election. Exxpress-Editor Eva Schütz does this according to the Foundation Board’s search committee for the general election. However, she holds shares in the media company behind the platform Exxpress and is the editor there. The ORF law does not allow people with employment or partnership relationships with media companies to become generals. And according to Lehofer’s interpretation, these conditions should already have ended with the order.
