The former first lady () stated that she hopes that the house arrest of the former president (PL) will be maintained after the 90-day period granted by the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court), which ends at the end of this month.
She also said that her priority is Bolsonaro’s health and that she will help (PL-RJ’s) presidential candidacy “at the right time.”
“At the right time, for sure. Now the one who needs support, care, is my husband”, she responded when asked about helping in the senator’s campaign.
Flávio and Michelle do not have a close relationship and have had friction in the past — in addition, the former first lady is seen in the PL as a potential presidential candidate, despite Bolsonaro’s choice for her son.
Michelle participated in the launch of the pre-candidacy of Thiago Manzoni (PL), now district deputy, for federal deputy. In a brief speech, the former first lady praised her ally, with whom she is close, and sent greetings from Bolsonaro. She ignored Flávio again in her speech.
“I hope that God touches the minister’s heart and that he [Bolsonaro] stay at home, because he needs to be taken care of. There’s food there, I’m taking good care of him. Apart from medication, because it fluctuates a lot,” she said.

The former first lady also said that she does not intend to meet with Moraes again to ask for an extension of house arrest and does not know whether the measure will be maintained.
She was also asked about her pre-candidacy for the Senate in the Federal District and said that only the improvement in Bolsonaro’s health could make her confirm that she will run. Michelle added that the former president’s wishes are for her to contest the election.
