The traditional “Festa Junina do Agro”, promoted by the FPA (), was attended by congressmen, sector leaders and diplomatic representatives on Tuesday night (June 9, 2026), at the entity’s headquarters, in Lago Sul, in Brasília.
According to the front office, the event seeks “value rural traditions and bring together those who make agriculture happen”. Guests participated in a festival with typical foods, such as kebabs, broths, corn-based dishes, churros, as well as drinks and wines.
The party’s entertainment was provided by the country duo Enzo and Rafael, who presented a repertoire with country music classics and university country music hits. The event also featured typical attractions, such as a mechanical bull.
Among the authorities present, the highlight was the participation of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, (Republicans-PB). In a speech to the guests, the congressman highlighted the relevance of the FPA and the Free Market Parliamentary Front for Congress and highlighted the contribution of for the Brazilian economy.
“Agriculture is an important sector that contributes to wealth, generates income and employment in Brazil. Today I would like to reaffirm the commitment to prioritize issues that value agriculture”he stated.
Motta also praised the work of the Free Market Parliamentary Front, which, according to him, contributes to the defense of legal security and the construction of an environment favorable to private investments. At the end of his speech, he invited those present to enjoy the celebration by dancing forró.
In addition to Motta, the president of the FPA, (Republicanos-PR), the PP leader in the Chamber, (RJ), and the MDB leader in the Chamber, (AL). Ambassadors from Portugal, Thailand and China were also present.
