Former first lady says that working on voting day is a way to “protect the vote”

The former first lady (PL) used her Instagram profile, on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), to call on supporters to be PL poll workers or inspectors in this year’s elections.

“You increase transparency, monitor the vote and gain benefits provided by law. At the end of the day, you will be able to say: ‘I protected the vote’. To be a poll worker, sign up for the TRE. To be a poll worker, volunteer for the Liberal Party”he declared.

In the text that accompanies the publication, Michelle and PL Mulher said that the campaign is called “operation V2 – Watch and Vote” and classified it as “the largest female mobilization for electoral inspection in Brazil’s recent history”.

The campaign began on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), with insertions on national radio and television networks until June 20. On social media, it will remain until July 20th.
