The company responsible for the rope jumps on the Ponte do Esqueleto in Limeira (SP), where a 24 year old woman died this Saturday (13), had the premise of a “leap to extraordinary”.
The message appeared at the top of the Entre Cordas Oficial profile on Instagram, but the page with more than 80 thousand followers was deleted. The company also had the following phrase on its profile: “You dream. We make it happen.”
The victim, who has not yet been identified, died after being thrown from the bridge without adequate safety equipment. The company did not place the rope that was supposed to hold the young woman, who was thrown from a great height.
The Military Police responded to the incident in the interior of São Paulo and reported that, according to preliminary information, the The victim participated in the activity accompanied by instructors.
People at the scene would have performed CPR maneuvers until arrival. from Samu’s team (Mobile Emergency Care Service). However, the death was confirmed at the scene due to polytrauma. The incident remains ongoing.

“Since 9:55 am this Saturday (13), the Military Police and the Fire Department have been responding to an incident of a person falling on the trail of Ponte do Esqueleto, in Limeira. According to preliminary information, the victim was participating in a bungee jumping activity. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called and confirmed the death at the scene. The case is being registered by the Civil Police.”
