In the past few days, several Slovak personalities went to the christening and tasting of the new product called Wimmer Schnitzel. Its author is producer Štefan Wimmer. The Slovak presenter, humorist and actress Elena Vacvalová was not missing from the company. The producer introduced, simply put, a new schnitzel that is loved not only by Austrians, but also by Slovaks.
For example, what does television star Elena Vacvalová like to cook for her husband? “I cook for him, which will probably sound surprising, I cook fresh food for him every day and hot food for lunch. I’m proud of it. I’m learning to cook in smaller quantities so that I don’t have to reheat the next day, and believe me, it’s a great art.” says the humorist.
At the same time, he will learn many other dishes and recipes, because it alternates. “I want him to have something different every day. To have a fish, to have a vegetable day, to have a bryndza, it has to be and so on. And the essence of what I’m telling you is that I like to cook. To dogs, to cats, and even to myself,” she revealed what a caring partner she is.
She and her husband enjoy discovering good restaurants and establishments where the quality is reflected in the food. “We have such a magazine, Falstaff, which goes around Slovakia and discovers really unknown things, sometimes I am extremely pleasantly surprised and proud of how good, high-quality and aesthetically, if I can call it that, cooking is done in Slovakia,” praised the Slovak gastro scene.
So when they go somewhere with a man, they look on the map to see if there is anything special in the area. “He goes to eat in the vineyards, maybe privately with some winemaker and so on. And then he comes and tells me – it was great there, we’ll go there together.” added Vacvalová to the tradition with her husband.
