Today’s weather will be changeable, it will bring numerous showers and sometimes storms. Cooler and more humid air, which flows from the northwest, will reduce the maximum daily temperatures to +18 to +25 °C. This northwest flow has already caused significant storms that caused damage in the Czech Republic and Hungary, reports .
Storms were already in our territory yesterday and they will strike again today. However, the sun will regularly alternate between cloudiness and showers. In the afternoon, rain will affect practically the whole of Slovakia, with the greatest risk in the mountainous areas of the Žilina and Prešov regions.
Storms in the north and east of the country can also bring potentially dangerous accompanying phenomena. Rarely, heavy rain combined with wind will cause the greatest damage. However, even stronger storms are plaguing our neighbors in Hungary, where meteorologists have already issued official warnings.
