Memorandum is a “very generic document,” says Vance on Iran deal

“Several issues we will have to resolve during the technical negotiations phase,” said US Vice President

United States Vice President JD Vance said Monday that the memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran is “a very generic document”, the details of which will be defined in future negotiations.

“The MOU… is about a page and a half long, so it’s a very generic document,” Vance said on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper.

“Several issues we will have to resolve during the technical negotiations phase.”
