The NGOs that form the Emergency Committee (Action Against Hunger, SOS Children’s Villages, Educo, Entreculturas, Médicos del Mundo, Oxfam Intermón, Plan International and World Vision) have called to strengthen protection of the refugees all over the world in front of the “insecurity” and the “dangerous routes”. In this sense, on the occasion of the World Refugee Daywhich is celebrated this Saturday June 20has called for support and protection for people who have been forced to move.
SOS Children’s Villages has supported more than 600,000 people in Ukraine through the different projects of its Emergency Response Program. Since the start of the war, the direct child care organization has provided emergency aid, counseling and psychosocial support to more than 166,000 children y families displaced within the country. It also facilitates ‘Safe Spaces’ for children and offers long-term support to children and adolescents injured in war through medical, psychological and rehabilitation care.
