Yaron Nisenholz becomes the new Chief Rabbi of Vienna


Vienna – The 53-year-old Rabbi Yaron Nisenholz will be the new Chief Rabbi of Vienna and Rabbi of the City Temple. The highest body of the Jewish Community of Vienna (IKG), the Cultural Board, appointed the former chief rabbi of the city of Basel, who is currently working as a community rabbi in Tel Aviv, at its meeting on Wednesday, as the IKG announced in a press release. He will take office in the fall.
