The leader of the government in the National Congress, senator Randolfe Rodrigues (PT-AP), declared this Wednesday, 17th, that he is confident in holding a vote in the Federal Senate on the end of the 6×1 scale before the parliamentary recess, which will begin in a month.
In conversation with journalists, after a meeting with the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), Randolfe celebrated the scheduling of a debate between senators and union centrals on July 1st.
“I’m optimistic about this, that we will not go into recess without appreciating the end of 6×1. We have until July 17th to vote on the end of 6×1 and the institution of the 5×2 scale. I am confident that, before we go into recess, we will appreciate it,” he said.
Already approved in the Chamber of Deputies, the PEC has not yet been dispatched by Alcolumbre for processing in the Senate.
