Vienna – In order to relieve the strain on Austrian prisons, Justice Minister Anna Sporrer (SPÖ) is planning to release around 500 prisoners. A spokeswoman for the minister confirmed information from an interview with the daily newspaper to the APA on Friday Delivery man. The ministry is working on “measures to achieve a one-time release from prison,” said Sporrer there. “This concerns people who have proven themselves in prison, for example when released.”
