The history of the Practice began in a small warehouse in the south of Minas. Decades later, the Brazilian manufacturer of food service equipment is already competing in the market with German, Italian and American giants and now wants to further accelerate its international expansion.
With operations in the United States, opening a branch in Germany and plans linked to the European capital market, the company sees Brazil as the main path to growth in the coming years. “Brazil is big, right? It’s big, but it’s 2% of the world. There’s another 98% of the world to be explored”, said André Rezende, founder of the Practice, in an interview with From Zero to Top.
Today, the company already exports to more than 50 countries and is expected to exceed half a billion reais in revenue this year.

From the United States to Germany
Practice’s international movement began first in Latin America, especially in Chile, where the company found its first strategic distributors. But the big leap came when he decided to enter the United States directly.
The company opened its own operation in Dallas, Texas, to compete locally in the largest food service market on the planet. According to him, the challenge was not being a Brazilian company, but gaining trust in a highly competitive market.
“Our option in the United States was to be a local presence, to compete with local players,” stated André.
More recently, the company also opened a unit in Germany right in the main technological hub of many of its global competitors.

European IPO
The Practice has already been listed on B3 since BNDESPar joined the company, between 2013 and 2023. Now, the company is preparing new moves targeting international investors.
According to André, the company decided to seek rapprochement with the Spanish Stock Exchange as it saw more opportunities for medium-sized industrial companies.
