The Japanese team occupies second place in the group, with one point, after their debut.
Tunisia was and remains at the bottom of the group, still without scoring.
The clash also represents an opportunity for revenge for the Tunisians. The two teams met in the group stage of the 2002 World Cup, when Japan won 2-0.
