The state deputy and pre-candidate for the Senate for PL, André do Prado (SP)said this Saturday (20) that former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL) will be his substitute in the dispute for Casa Alta in São Paulo. At an event launching the ticket for the electoral race, he stated that the two “will be together” in the elections.
“He continues as my 1st deputy, there are appeals that can still be filed and we believe that the Supreme Court plenary can reverse this”, he stated.
During the pre-candidacy launch event, André do Prado said that the candidacy for the Senate in São Paulo should belong to Eduardo.
“I thank Eduardo for his support and trust, because this position was supposed to be his, and Eduardo will not be able to run for the Senate. Thank you to him for this trust. I will defend all right-wing agendas in the Senate, which Eduardo also defends, to guarantee the performance of our values”, he said during the pre-candidacy launch event.
The event was held in Guarulhos. State governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) and senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), also attended the meeting.
Flávio also commented on Eduardo’s political situation. During the launch of the ticket, the senator said that “it was not an easy decision” to decide on André do Prado’s name.
“Unfortunately, due to a supposed defense of democracy, they committed abuses and Eduardo could not be here with us today”, declared Flávio.
