Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione and Jorge Aragão liven up SP on a samba night

Alcyone78, Zeca Pagodinho67, and Jorge Aragão77, performed on Saturday night (20) at Nubank Park, in the west of São Paulo. The three came together in the project “O Maior Encontro do Samba”.

At the show, the artists sang hits such as “Mutirão de Amor”, “Você Me Vira a Cabeça” and “Maneiras”. At a certain point during the performance, the three sang sitting down (check out the video below), and Martinho da Vila was present at the show as a special guest.

Celebrities like Vitão, Evandro Fióti, brother of Emicida, and Alessandra Negrini honored the trio.

The project takes the public on a journey through samba time, with songs that marked the beginning of the trio’s career.

The story of the three goes back a long way: Aragão met Zeca when he was in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. Sponsored by Beth Carvalho, he fell in love with the local samba dancers, Grupo Fundo de Quintal, of which Jorge Aragão was one of the founders.

It has already recorded the first eight partnerships between the two registered at Ecad (Central Collection and Distribution Office). Among them, “Não Sou Mais Disso”, which is one of the classics in the show’s repertoire. The list also includes songs by Cartola, Ivone Lara and Zé Ketti.
