Innsbruck – Former world champion Jakob Schubert once again climbed onto the podium in third place at the World Cup in Innsbruck on Sunday in his flagship discipline of lead. Only Neo Suzuki from Japan, who was successful like last year, and Olympic champion Alberto Gines Lopez from Spain were slightly better than the veteran in the final. In the women’s competition, Jessica Pilz came sixth. First place went to Olympic champion and world champion Janja Garnbret, the Slovenian celebrated her 50th World Cup victory.
