Classic Brazilian popular music stirred the public after the victory of the Dutch team against the Swedish team
Fans celebrated to the sound of “Magalenha”a classic of Brazilian popular music, against the Swedish team in the 2026 World Cup, on Saturday (June 20, 2026). The video of the party is circulating on the internet and has already accumulated 330,000 likes.
The band Sambaband Almôndegas was responsible for cheering up the crowd. The group, made up of Dutch people, performs percussion and samba in different countries in Europe. The music played during the concentration was composed by Carlinhos Brown and recorded by Sérgio Mendes in 1992.

The Dutch team defeated Sweden 5-1 at the NRG Stadium in Houston (USA). This was the team’s 1st victory in this edition of the World Cup.
With 4 points achieved, the team led by coach Ronald Koeman took the lead in Group F. The previous point had been obtained in the debut, in a 2-2 draw with the Japanese team.
In the 3rd and final round of the group stage, the Netherlands team will face the Tunisian team.
