Consultation on the 2nd batch of Income Tax refund starts this Tuesday

The IRS releases this Tuesday (23) the consultation of the second batch of Income Tax refunds Individual (IRPF). Bank credit will be made on June 30th.

The query can be made from 9 am, on the Federal Revenue website, in the option “My Income Tax” and then “Check my refund”. It is also possible to consult the Federal Revenue app for tablets and smartphones.

With R$16 billion in credits and 9,585,797 taxpayers covered, the batch is the largest in history in terms of number of contributors covered. The amount paid will be equal to the first batch of refunds this year, registered on May 29th of this year.

Of the total, R$4,494,204,020.63 will be allocated to taxpayers with legal priority, distributed as follows:

  • Elderly people over 80 years old: 155,060 refunds
  • Elderly people between 60 and 79 years old: 1,106,923 refunds
  • People with physical, mental disabilities or serious illnesses: 106,294 refunds
  • Taxpayers whose biggest source of income is teaching: 507,768 refunds
  • Another 7,709,752 refunds will be allocated to taxpayers without legal priority, but who used the pre-filled declaration and/or chose to receive it via PIX.
