A survey released by the Gerp Institute this Wednesday (23)pointed out that Brazilians see violence and lack of security as the country’s biggest problemand point out that the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), would be the most recommended to resolve the issue.
The survey carried out 2,000 interviews between June 15th and 20th, has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.19 percentage points and 95% confidence.
The survey showed that 55% of those interviewed indicated that the Brazil’s biggest problem is volence and lack of security. In second place appears the corruptionwith 40%, followed by lack of hospitals and health centerscom 23%.
Other problems that were also highlighted are:
- Cost of living – 13%
- Higher taxes – 12%
- Lack of schools/colleges – 12%
- Unemployment/lack of employment – 11%
- Bad school/colleges – 10%
- Drug use – 7%
- Sanitation/lack of sewage system – 5%
- Cracolândia – 5%
- Water supply – 3%
- Homeless people – 3%
- Bad public transport – 2%
Asked who would be most prepared to combat violence, 33% of those interviewed answered Flávio Bolsonaro, while 28% said Lula. 14% said that none of the pre-candidates are prepared to combat violence, and 7% did not know how to answer.
In relation to corruption, Flávio also appears as the first option to combat it. He got 30% of the answers, followed by Lula, with 28%. 20% said none of them, and 7% did not know how to answer.
