Dara Rolins (53) has been an integral part of the Slovak and Czech pop scene for many years. The public first saw her on TV screens as a child. However, after many years on the scene, the singer unexpectedly announced in the live broadcast of the Ladies’ Club show on the public STVR that she was taking a break. For the website, she revealed the details of her departure from the scene and also talked about the wedding.
The singer appeared in Rajecké Teplice at the 30th anniversary and ceremonial opening of the spa season of Spa Aphrodite, which took place on June 18. Dara revealed that this is one of her last performances. “I have two more to go and then I’m taking time off. A year, maybe a year and a half, maybe two, I’ll see how I like it, or how I don’t like it, but in between I have plans and things and such an interesting project that I want to prepare in my head, so I’m leaving so I can come back again“, she revealed that it is not ending definitively.
He is clear about how he wants to use this time. “Oh, so many things that I can’t keep up with and miss because after all, I’m on the road every weekend, I’m always dead on the sofa on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Then on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and sometimes on Thursday I am a mother and a partner, and that’s not enough time when you want to devote yourself to other things,” she described the flip side of show business.
“So I definitely want to be flexible for Laura, so that whenever she needs me, I can get on a plane and come over. And I want to be with my man, I want to furnish our houses. I have a full list of things to tackle, do, attend to and travel and read,” she named the activities.
Everyone is probably most interested in when Dara and her fiance Pavlo Neddvo will say yes. The Czech ex-footballer unexpectedly proposed to the singer during the celebration of the arrival of the year 2025 in the Italian mountains, where they were with their closest ones. As Dara revealed, they would also like to catch up on their wedding during the break. “Yes, that’s on the agenda too,” she revealed. However, she kept the exact date and details of the preparations to herself.
