RIO DE JANEIRO, 25 Jun (Reuters) – Petrobras plans to import diesel in July, after spending April, May and June without external purchases of this fuel, the company’s president, Magda Chambriard, said this Thursday.
The executive’s statement took place during an event to sign contracts for companies that won the bids to complete the work on the Nitrogen Fertilizers Unit (UFN-III), in Três Lagoas (MS), with the presence of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
Also in his speech, Chambriard stated that the company’s production is approaching 3 million barrels per day.
