The 2nd season of “The Paper”a spin-off of the hit “The Office”, is closer to returning to the public. The new year returns to American broadcaster Peacock on September 9th; In Brazil, the series arrives through HBO Max.
According to exclusive information from Variety, the cast gained additions with names such as Jon Lovitz (“Grown Ups 2”), Andy Richter (“Conan”), Lisa Gilroy (“Jury Duty”), Matt Braunger (“Agent Carter), Toks Olagundoye (“Family Guy”, “Beave and Butt-Head”) and Phil Hendrie (from the radio show “The Phil Hendrie”).
In the second season, after winning the Ohio Journalism award, Ned (Domhall Gleeson) embarks on a new journalistic investigation. His investigation into a private club in the region ends up placing the newspaper Toledo Truth Teller in a delicate situation. While he and Mare (Chelsea Frei) try to understand the growing connection between the two, Esmeralda seeks her space, and the team of reporters goes through a process of maturation and evolution.
