The Board of Directors of , under the command of the president (-PB), informed this Thursday (25) that the House will have an optional session next Monday (29), when the Brazilian team will return to play at .
The measure was taken through an ordinance signed by the first secretary of the Board, deputy Carlos Vera (PT-PE).
The Chamber had practically no activities this week due to the São João festivities, traditional especially in the Northeast region. Every year, the date leaves Brasília empty, and congressmen take the opportunity to return to their electoral bases.
The only sessions that took place in the plenary this week were solemn, without votes on bills. A tribute was paid to National Cinema Day, on Monday (22), and to the Christian contribution to the abolition of slavery, on Wednesday (24).
