The gesture, however, has fueled speculation that she could be a candidate for vice-president on Flávio’s ticket, if her party formally forms a coalition with the PL. The hypothesis has been growing, despite the Republicans having a pro-Lula wing.
In addition to complying with the , Marques has a technical and moderate profile, far from the more ideological Bolsonarism.
She has said, however, that she never discussed this matter with the pre-candidate for president and that she continues to collaborate with his government program.
