Iran’s national soccer team has called for fair play in hopes of advancing to the World Cup. As was the case after the second preliminary round game in Los Angeles, “Team Melli” also left a handwritten message in the dressing room after the Group G final. “Fair play is not just a principle in the rules of football, it is the soul of the game,” the Iranians wrote on a blackboard.
