This week the most interesting AI news comes not from the USA or China, but from Austria. A local start-up has introduced the AI companion Eustella, which is intended to act as an alternative to conventional solutions from the big players. The app should not only answer questions in the style of ChatGPT and similar applications, but should also be able to act agentically. Planning a trip is given as an example, and the tool can also compare current product prices – Geizhals.at, an old hand in the local digital economy, was won as a partner, and there is another partnership with Bitpanda.
