Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro’s video about the pre-candidate (PL) and the impacts of the Federal Police investigations against the former government leader in the Senate, (PT-BA), were questioned by the AtlasIntel Institute in a new electoral survey, registered on Thursday (June 25, 2026).
The company by decision of Minister Kassio Nunes Marques, of the Superior Electoral Court, for mentioning a video during the online questionnaire. The case involves the electoral survey carried out shortly after it came to light, as reported by the The Interceptaudios in which the PL senator asks Daniel Vorcaro for money to make the film “Dark Horse”, about the former president (PL).
The rapporteur considered that the research influenced voters’ reflection with the questionnaires that indicated a correlation between Flávio Bolsonaro and Vorcaro. The case was submitted to the referendum of the electoral court plenary, but the session was interrupted with the request for a review by Minister Estela Aranha.
The core of the controversy is the methodology adopted by the researchers, which associates voters’ voting intentions with everyday facts – in this case, the research mentioned congressman’s conversations. Now, with the new research presented to the TSE under registration AtlasIntel asks: “Did you watch the video published on Michelle Bolsonaro’s social media in which the former first lady reports political and personal differences with Flávio Bolsonaro?” Read the of the questionnaire made available by the TSE system (PDF – 189 kB).
It is not clear, however, whether the digital form presents the video for interviewees to interact. THE Poder360 questioned AtlasIntel’s lawyers this Sunday (June 28), but received no response until the publication of this report. This text will be updated as soon as any comments are received.
The new research also mentions the 9th phase of Operation Compliance Zero, which targeted the former government leader in the Senate, Jaques Wagner, a longtime ally of the president (PT). The questionnaire also asks respondents to comment on: “Which political group is most involved in the Banco Master financial fraud scheme?”
There are also questions related to the relationship with the United States, with special emphasis on President Donald Trump’s proposal for an additional 25% tariff against Brazil. However, unlike previous questions, the company does not question a possible correlation of tariffs with pre-candidates Lula or Flávio Bolsonaro.
The institute questions the interviewee’s assessment of the United States government’s motivations and how they evaluate Trump’s possible influence in the 2026 election.
METHODOLOGY
AtlasIntel carries out its research entirely online. Recruitment of interviewees is done through advertisements spread across various websites and blogs throughout Brazil. When clicking on these ads, people are directed to the company’s pages that allow voters to take long forms, with questions about the electoral scenario and their political opinions.
The digital questionnaire allows the public to freely navigate the page, using the scroll (scroll up and down). This means that, under normal conditions, whoever responds can return to the beginning of the form at any time and change a previously given answer – such as changing the name of the chosen candidate after reading a question about Flávio Bolsonaro’s audios.
