The multifunctional complex in Levoča became the scene of a huge tragedy on Monday afternoon. Shortly after 3:00 p.m., the young man’s life ended there. According to the information provided by the police so far, the 25-year-old went swimming in the part designated for swimming at his own risk. However, due to unknown reasons, an accident occurred and the man drowned.
Emergency services were immediately called to the scene. Despite the quick intervention and the best efforts of the rescuers, unfortunately, the young man could not be saved. The exact course and causes of this accident are currently under investigation. The case is already being dealt with by an authorized member of the District Department of the Police Force in Levoča.
